The classwork I did for both Minor Studio Project and Making Theory. I didn’t prepare any printing resources myself so I tried to use the magazines that the class provided for me to create these collages.

Other students classwork from above that I found inspiration.

More collages that I made with sources related to my chosen subject to work on for the Marie Antoinette Style exhibition in the V&A. . I am particularly inspired by the soft, ethereal elements and the pastel colour palette that permeates each composition. The delicate interplay of textures, whimsical elements, and classical references evokes a sense of elegance and fantasy that aligns perfectly with the Rococo aesthetic I wish to explore. Each of them demonstrates a fluidity between historical imagery and contemporary reinterpretation, encouraging me to experiment with layered visuals, soft lighting, and subtle surrealism in my own work. Moving forward, I aim to capture this dreamlike refinement and playful opulence, ensuring that the exhibition communicates both historical richness and modern artistic sensibility.
